Shrewsbury – Joan Marie (Caduto) Steele, of Shrewsbury, died peacefully Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2017 in UMass Memorial Medical Center-University Campus, Worcester.
Joan leaves behind her loving partner of over 30 years, Peter Holland of Shrewsbury, along with her children, Suzanne Caduto of Nevada, Steven Caduto of Maine, Michael Caduto of the Netherlands, and David Caduto of California. She was the loving sister of Helen Sheldon of Portsmouth, R.I., Mary Kelleher of Needham and Susan Simonians of Marblehead, and is also survived by several grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Joan was born Oct. 22, 1942 in Boston. She was the daughter of the late Edward Burton Steele, Esq. and Helen (McCarthy) Steele Cox. She Graduated from Stonehill College with a degree in economics.
Joan entered the financial world at Bache in Boston where she worked for many years before staring her own market research firm in Cambridge.
A private funeral Mass will be held for the family at St. Mary of the Hills Church, Boylston. A memorial service will be held later in the spring in Hull.
