Region – For the ninth year in a row, Bolton will be the scene of “the ultimate recycling event” – a town-wide yard sale featuring more than 30 sellers at yard sale locations around town – Saturday, May 5, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Rain date is Sunday, May 6, at the same time.
Shoppers will find treasures in Bolton yards, driveways, and garages and at a group location, the Bolton Town Common on Main Street at the intersection of Wattaquadock Hill Road. They will be guided to sales through a map that will be available the day before online at BoltonLocal.org and in town on the Bolton Town Common on the day of the sales.
The free map will not only mark streets with yard sales, but also will list specific addresses as well as a sampling of items for sale at each location.
In addition to the typical yard sale categories of household, toys and games, clothing, furniture and electronics, sellers at more than 30 tables are offering some specific items and collectibles, including tools, a rooftop carrier, a bookcase, fishing gear, a loom, wooden signs, coins, baseball cards, wall art, holiday decor, crafts, and garden supplies.
The event is sponsored by Bolton Local, a grassroots group promoting community sustainability.
