Shrewsbury – Mark E. Finacom, 68, of Shrewsbury, died Monday, May 21, 2018 at Beaumont Nursing Home in Worcester. He was the husband of Susan M. (Delonis) Finacom of Shrewsbury.
Born in Worcester he was the son of Elizabeth (Gearin) Finacom of Shrewsbury and the late Edward Finacom. He was a graduate of St. Peter’s High School, class of 1968.
Mark worked for many years as the foreman for the Interstate Gasket Company.
Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by three sons, Matthew M. Finacom and his wife Tia of Millbury, Patrick M. Finacom and his wife Kelley of Shrewsbury, and Timothy M. Finacom and his wife Lauren of Shrewsbury, and four grandchildren, Alana, Brody, Aiden and Cooper. He is also survived by his siblings, Thomas Finacom and his wife Mary of Sutton, Robert Finacom and his wife Dawn of Harwich, and Susan Murphy and her husband Richard of Brentwood, N.H.
Family and friends will honor and remember Mark’s life by gathering for calling hours Thursday, May 24, from 10-11 a.m., at the Chiampa Funeral Home, ~Sumner House~, 5 Church Rd., On the Common, Shrewsbury. His funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private at a later date.
