Giselle GironMarlborough – Giselle (Huezo) Giron, 30, formerly of Marlborough, died suddenly Sept. 17, 2018 in Merritt Island, Fla.

She was born in Nonulaco, El Salvador, the daughter of Morena and Ernesto Huezo, and was a 2007 graduate of Marlborough High School.

Following graduation she enlisted in the United States Air Force where she honorably served our country. She was a veteran of the Iraq War and was a SSgt at the time of her honorable discharge. She then went on to work as a civilian for the USAF at Patrick Air Force Base in Florida as a Supply Technician Customer Liaison.

Giselle was an avid reader and Patriots and Red Sox fan, and was a color enthusiast. She was outgoing, happy and caring.

In addition to her parents, she leaves three sisters, Ingrid Ticas of Nashville, Tenn., and Julia and Celeste Huezo, both of Marlborough; her maternal grandmother, Julia Molina of Marlborough; a niece and nephew; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A graveside service with military honors will be held Wednesday, Sept. 26, at 10:30 a.m., in Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street. Calling hours and funeral will be held Tuesday, Sept. 25, from 6-9 p.m., in the Emmanuel Christian Center, 814 Boston Post Road East, Marlborough.
