Robert F. D’Amico, 92, of Bolton, formerly of MarlboroughBolton – Robert F. “Bobby” D’Amico, 92, died Oct. 23, 2018 after a brief period of failing health.

He was born in Marlborough, the son of the late Frank and Hellen (Clark) D’Amico, and also lived in Florida for many years before moving back to the area, living in Bolton for the past few years.

Mr. D’Amico was a United States Coast Guard Veteran of WWII and later worked as a custodian for the New England Regional Primate Research Center for over 30 years.

Bobby was a longtime fan of professional boxing, as well as an avid fan of all New England sports teams, particularly the Patriots and the Red Sox.

He is survived by a brother, James D’Amico of Chester, Vt.; a sister-in-law, Barbara D’Amico of Bolton; two nephews, Jeffrey D’Amico of Berlin and Mark D’Amico of Melbourne, Fla.; three nieces, Janine Garbacz of Jacksonville, Fla., Lisa Butland of Berlin, and Laurie Perault of Hudson; and his cousin and devoted caretaker, Ellen Caless of Bolton. He was predeceased by two brothers, Anthony and Richard D’Amico.

A private family funeral is scheduled for a later date.
