Region – Now that the holiday gifts have been exchanged, it’s time to look forward to the year ahead. Our wish is that 2019 can be a year of unity, compassion and tolerance. Although it would be a dream to see this take place across the globe, perhaps it’s more realistic to start locally. And it can be so simple…to let a fellow driver merge into traffic, to agree to disagree with our friends about politics or to volunteer our time to share joy with someone less fortunate. Tip O’Neil was famous for stating that “All Politics is Local”…but perhaps today it’s more fitting to say that “All Kindness Should be Local”.
