Marlborough – Linda P. (Smith) Hebert, 67, died unexpectedly at her home Jan. 3, 2019.  She was the wife of William “Bill” Hebert, to whom she was married for 43 years.

She was born in Newton, the daughter of the late Robert and Jane (Moulton) Smith.

Linda worked at the Leonard Morse Hospital in Natick for many years, starting as a candy striper and moving to a nurse’s assistant. After leaving Leonard Morse, she became a manager for different nursing placement companies in the area.

Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, Thomas Komola Jr. of Marlborough and Adam Hebert and William Hebert, both of Bellingham; three daughters, Sharon Evans and Pamela Hawkins, both of Framingham, and Jennifer Hutchins of Worcester; nine grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are under the direction of the William R. Short and Son Funeral (www.shortfuneral.com) Home of Marlborough and will be held at a later date.
