Region – An array of artwork from 326 Massachusetts students in grades K-12 will be on display at the Central MA Regional Youth Art Month Exhibit in the Higgins Education Wing of the Worcester Art Museum from Friday, March 1 through Sunday, March 31.
A family reception will be held on Sunday March 3 from 12:30-2:30 pm. This reception will feature a recognition ceremony at 1:15 p.m. as well as performances by Shrewsbury’s Oak Middle School Select Choir from 12:45-1:15 p.m. and The Academy Singers from 1:45-2:15 p.m.
This event also coincides with the museum’s free admission day, which is the first Sunday of each month.

This annual event, which typically takes place in March, emphasizes the value of art education for all children and encourages support for quality art programs in public and private schools. The museum is open Wednesday-Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the 3rd Thursday of every month: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Admission for the YAM exhibit hall is always free.
