Shrewsbury, MA – This summer athletes from all over the country flew to Minneapolis, Minn. to compete in the 2019 USA Taekwondo National Championship.
The Massachusetts State Taekwondo Association (MSTA) Demonstration Team won the gold medal in the competition. The team, under the supervision of Grandmaster Jae. H. Jeong, Master Hee Yong Kim, and Master Alex Jeong, is made up of 19 athletes from three different Taekwondo schools throughout the state – US Taekwondo Center, Shrewsbury; US Taekwondo Center, Leominster; and US Taekwondo Center, Waltham.
