Westborough – Registration is now open for the free parent workshop “How to Help Your Child Build Confidence and Improve in School” Thursday, Jan. 16, at 6:30-8 p.m. at the YMCA Boroughs, 4 Valente Drive, Westborough.
This session will provide practical strategies to help your child become more successful with organizational, time management, and study skills that will assist them now and in the future. During the session, parents will learn what to look for when your child is struggling, and what they can do to help. Parents will also get advice on how to boost their child’s confidence in school, which has long-term benefits.
Presenter Todd Blechner has been an educator for more than 20 years and is the owner of Next Level Up Tutoring and the NLU Learning Center in West Boylston.
Limited free childcare for children ages 6 months to 12 years is available during the seminar and prioritized for YMCA members, YFCP families and then to the general public. Families will be placed on a waitlist when childcare is full and contacted if room becomes available.
