Shrewsbury Police arrest three for alleged drugs, firearms possessionShrewsbury – The Shrewsbury Police Department released this statement this afternoon:

On Wednesday, September 30, 2020, at approximately 1415 hours, Officer Kevin Caviston of the Shrewsbury Police Department, while on patrol in the area of Route 9 westbound near Quinsigamond Plaza, queried Massachusetts license plate 1RWZ57 that was on a 2001 Honda Civic.  A result of the query showed that the vehicle was stolen out of the City of Worcester.  A motor vehicle stop was conducted and the occupants were detained. During the roadside investigation, a loaded 9mm semi-automatic handgun was located within the vehicle’s passenger area. None of the occupants in the vehicle possessed a valid License to Carry firearms (LTC). Inside the vehicle Officers also located additional ammunition and a substance believed to be heroin.
