Deloris J. LarsonHudson – Deloris J. (Studlien) Larson, 82, of Hudson, passed away unexpectedly Jan. 16, 2021, with her loving family by her side. She is reunited in heaven with her beloved husband of 51 years, Sam L. Larson, who predeceased her on June 9, 2010.

Deloris was born Nov. 1, 1938 in Portland, N.D., a daughter of the late Nels and Judith (Sandvik) Studlien. She was raised in Portland, where she graduated from high school and later married the love of her life Sam Larson. After a time in Mayville, N.D., they moved to Stow in 1961 and later settled in Hudson in 1973.

Deloris was a devoted homemaker and a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. She also helped support her family and was well known in the community working as a cashier at Victory/Hannaford Market. She was also a long-time member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Acton.

Deloris loved spending time with her family, especially all of her many grandchildren. She also enjoyed visiting the casinos and playing card games. She loved to travel as often as she could, especially to visit her brothers and sisters. She also loved visiting many places within the United States and also abroad on her many cruises. She was always up for any adventure.

Deloris is survived by three children, Kevin L. Larson and his longtime companion Pam Cooper (and her children, Katelyn and Jenah) of Hudson, Annette D. Fowle and her husband Doug of Hudson and Darryl M. Larson and his wife Maureen of Marlborough; three siblings, Earl Studlien and his wife Joan of Hudson, Vance Studlien and his wife Phyllis of Ohio, and Gene Studlien and his wife Susan of Concord; nine grandchildren, Tiffany and her husband Will, Krystal and her husband Peter, Nicholas and his wife Krista, Kevin Jr. and his wife Megan, Shari, Michael and his partner Samantha, Colbie, Olivia, and Abigail; five great-grandchildren, Deven, Cameron, Jacob, Sloane, Anya; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband, Sam L. Larson, and parents, she was also predeceased by five siblings, Carol Studlien, Dennis Studlien, her twin sister Donna Prichard, Gary Studlien, and Fern Fugleburg.

A graveside funeral service will be held Monday, Jan. 25, at 1 p.m., at Brookside Cemetery, 36 Gleasondale Rd., Stow.
