Hudson students win at Math Competition LeagueHUDSON – Students in Quinn Middle School’s Math Competition League capped off their season last month.

The team consists of fifth and seventh grade students meeting weekly for independent and cooperative work solving math problems.

This year’s program ran virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But participants still saw their efforts come to a climax with the international Noetic Learning Mathematics Competition.

“Everyone did well,” wrote Superintendent Marco Rodrigues in a newsletter update to the school community.

Fifth grade student Shrivasta Anumula won the honor of “team winner” and snagged a spot on the national honor roll.

Owen Kuzara and Aditi Gowda earned Honorable Mention awards, while seventh grade students Julian Ehlke and Steven Foo won team winner recognition.
