Janice M. LemoineGrafton – Janice M. (Grenier) Lemoine, 80, of South Grafton, died on May 17, 2021 in UMass Memorial Medical Center, University Campus, Worcester, as the result of complications from a surgical procedure.

She leaves her husband of 58 years, Andre J. Lemoine; two sons, Paul J. Lemoine and his wife Linda B. (Roberts) Lemoine, of Millbury and Eric D. Lemoine and his wife Lisa A. (Ruffles) Lemoine of Dudley; five grandchildren, Eli W. Lemoine of Spencer, Miranda B. Lemoine of Sutton, Andrew C. Reed of Douglas, Elise R. Reed of South Grafton, and Taylor L. Lemoine of Dudley; two brothers: her twin, William J. Grenier, and Allen Grenier, both of Sutton; and several nieces and nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her parents, William E. and Beatrice M. (Maranda) Grenier of South Grafton; a daughter, Kathleen B. (Lemoine) Reed of Douglas; and a brother, David Grenier of Sutton.

Born in South Grafton on Dec. 10, 1940, she lived there all her life and she attended Grafton schools in her youth before entering the workforce as a teenager.

Mrs. Lemoine was a skilled homemaker who also worked as a nurse’s aide at St. Camillus Nursing Home, Whitinsville, and Keith Hill Nursing Home, Grafton, for several years. She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Parish, Northbridge. To relax, she enjoyed trips to casinos, QVC shopping, and spending as much time with her grandchildren as possible.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 20, at 1 p.m., in St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 39 Church Ave., Northbridge. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, South Grafton. There are no calling hours.
