Sally A ButlerShrewsbury – Sally A Butler, 90, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 24, 2021. She was a devoted, loving wife, sister, aunt, and friend. Her husband of 27 years, William Butler, predeceased her in 1991.

Sally was born and raised in Shrewsbury. She was one of five children of the late Sloan and Esther Carroll.

Sally graduated from Shrewsbury High School, and worked many years at Central Supply Company, followed by 13 years in Human Resources at the Galvin Regional Center.

Sally loved to garden, decorate, and redesign her home.

She was so very passionate about her love for her family and friends, and they gave her the greatest joy. She also was devoted to her dogs. She enjoyed going out to eat and exploring new restaurants.

Sally was predeceased by two sisters, Gloria (Carroll) Power and Virginia (Carroll) D’Errico, and a brother, Charles Carroll. She leaves behind one sister, Margaret (Carroll) Alexander, and many beloved nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Sally was a strong, caring woman who passed knowing she was loved.

Calling hours and a brief prayer service were held on July 28 at the Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel of Worcester, with a procession to Mountain View Cemetery of Shrewsbury.
