Carolyn H. BreecherGrafton/Northborough – Carolyn H. Breecher, 76, passed away on Aug. 28, 2021, at Beaumont Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Northborough following a lengthy illness.

She leaves her daughter Christine Breecher and her husband Chris Tedford, Andrew Ferrell and his wife Gentry, her grandchildren Bennett, Savannah and Alec, and her sister Cathrine B. Gritman.

Carolyn was born on March 27, 1945 in Brooklyn, N.Y. and her roots were there. She also lived in Alabama and Georgia for several years before relocating to New England where Grafton became home for her.

Carolyn was an author, her novel “Bright Dove” was her literary life’s work which spanned several decades. She also was a devoted member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Westborough where she also sang in the choir.

She took memorable trips abroad and visiting the United Kingdom was always a favorite destination for her. Closer to home she was a voracious reader and had a great love of history.

All are welcome to a funeral service for Carolyn on Friday, Sept. 10, at 10 a.m., at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 183 West Main St., Westborough. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours.
