Shrewsbury – Mr. Antonio J.”Papi” Marin – Gonzalez, 89, of Shrewsbury, passed away peacefully at UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus on Sept. 13, 2021, surrounded by his children and grandchildren.
Antonio was born on Jan. 28, 1932, in “La Pastora,” Caracas, Venezuel,a to Antonio and Mercedes Marin.
Mr. Marin worked as an accountant in several companies for more than 40 years.
He was a devoted and loving husband of the late Maria Socorro De Marin and loving father of Antonio Marin Jr. and his wife Marisela Valero, Maria Lynch and her husband Kevin, and Adrian Marin and his wife Indrani Querales de Marin, and grandfather of Luis Daniel Sifontes-Marin, Gabriel Antonio Sifontes-Marin, Adrian Marin-Querales and Adriana Marin-Querales.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a period of visitation on Saturday, Sept. 18, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Chiampa Funeral Home ~ 5 Church Road, On the Common, Shrewsbury Center, Funeral Services will follow with Rev. Javier Julio officiating.
