HUDSON – Avidia Bank has hired Dominique Jean-Pierre as a new manager for its recently opened, newly constructed location at 196 Washington St. in Hudson.

The new branch was a result of a move from its former location at 221 Washington St.

Jean-Pierre comes to Avidia from Bank of America and has eight years of management experience. Jean-Pierre is also on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Clubs of MetroWest and regularly volunteers doing deliveries for the Hudson Food Pantry.

“What brought me to Avidia is the fact that we take action to truly help the client,” Jean-Pierre said in a press release. “We call our clients because we see something wrong with the account or a fee assessed and we want to figure out how to help them.”

“We are happy to have Dom join our team at Avidia Bank,” said Avidia President and CEO Mark O’Connell. “He brings a lot of experience, enthusiasm and that community mindset that is at the core of our values at the Bank. Dom is a great fit to lead our newest location in Hudson.”

The new Washington Street location features walk in banking, drive up banking, ATM, coin machine and interactive touchscreen technology. In addition, many of the same friendly faces Avidia customers know from the location across the street are there to serve.
