Christine A. WilliamsMarlborough – Christine A. (McCurley) Williams, 63, died unexpectedly December 1, 2021 after being stricken ill at home. She was the wife of Craig Williams, to whom she was married for 21 years.

She was born in Watertown, the daughter of the late Walter Sr. and Mildred (Irons) McCurley and lived in Marlborough all her life.

Besides her husband she is survived by a daughter Cali Madden of Belchertown and her husband, Sean, granddaughter Kyla Madden of Philadelphia, Six siblings; Kathleen Laverdiere of Sutton, Daniel McCurley of Worcester, Stephen McCurley of Marlborough, Her Twin brother Walter Jr. of Gardner, Timothy McCurley of Marlborough and Kevin McCurley of Shrewsbury.

Chrissy also leaves many nieces and nephews; Keith Temple, Jonathan Temple (predeceased), Daniel Temple, Kara Cammuso, Amanda McNeil, Tarren Soukup, Erin Newbould, Rachelle McCurley, Lauren Parente, David McCurley, Jessica Wood, Nicholas McCurley and Kaelen McCurley.

Chrissy was a graduate of Marlborough High School and worked at the current Main Street Bank, formerly Marlborough Savings Bank, in Marlborough for 41 years.

Chrissy loved her beloved Fenway Park and the beautiful scent of the ocean air in York Beach Maine. Many friends will remember her trips to New Hampshire Motor Speedway where she received her famous nickname “The orange creature from the black lagoon”. Her contagious laughter and unconditional love will be missed by so so many.

Her funeral will be held on Friday at 11:30 a.m. in the Short & Rowe Funeral Home (www.shortandrowefuneralhome.com), 95 West Main St. Marlborough. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be held on Friday morning from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. prior to the service.
