Donald N. LindquistHudson – Donald N. Lindquist, 84, life-long resident of Hudson, MA, died on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at Marlborough Hospital.  He was the husband of 49 years to the late Geraldine C. (Johnston) Lindquist who died in 2019.

Donald was born in Gardner, MA, son of the late David and Virginia (Babineau) Lindquist. He was raised in Hudson, MA where he attended local schools and was a graduate of Hudson High School. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War until being honorably discharged in 1966. He was employed for many years as Head Mechanic with the Department of Public Works in Hudson. Following his retirement, he has continued his trade as a mechanic locally in a part time role.

Donald is survived by his step-son, Bernard S. Wisuri and his wife Teresa of Hudson, MA; his grandchildren, Kristen Murphy and her husband Patrick, Regina Jusseaume and her husband Chad along with his great grandchildren Addison, Adriann and Geneva. He is also survived by his sister, Patricia O’Coin of Clinton, MA; nephew Barry O’Coin of Clinton, MA and many other friends and family.

Donald along with his wife Geraldine and family always enjoyed taking trips camping in their RV. They were members of the Carriage Club which was a group of campers organizing trips yearly at many locations. Donald and his family also cherished their camping rendezvous with a close circle of friends at the “Travelers Woods Camping Grounds” in Bernardston, MA. His wife Geraldine would coax Donald to many trips to Disney World in Florida throughout the years and as a devoted husband, he obliged. He truly loved his wife and would do anything for her. He will be remembered as a loving husband and father figure to his step-son and family; a kind and giving man, always looking to help others and a good friend to those who loved and knew him.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, December 27, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM followed by a service and celebration of Donald’s life at 12:00 PM at the Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson, MA. Burial will follow at the Forestvale Cemetery, Broad Street, Hudson, MA.

The family respectfully requests that face coverings be worn during visiting hours.
