Betty Ann DahlquistAtkinson, N.H. – Betty Ann Dahlquist 79, died on Tuesday, March 1, 2022.

Born in Worcester, Massachusetts on July 24, 1942, the daughter of the late Toivo Everett and Viena (Marskey) Aho. Raised in Paxton and educated in Worcester, she was a graduate of Wachusett Regional High School.

She worked initially as a legal secretary in Westborough, Massachusetts, and then for Mary Immaculate Health Care in Lawrence, Massachusetts as a secretary for over 20 years before her retirement.

Former longtime resident of Worcester and Westborough, with her beloved husband, Robert, they moved to Atkinson in 1980. Betty was a talented artist and enjoyed painting. She later began quilting and was a member of the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen and participated in many local craft fairs. Betty had an affinity for Robert Parker Mystery novels and loved her feline companions.

Betty will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her loving children, Craig Dahlquist of Atkinson and Christine Abrams and her husband, Stephen of Pleasant Hill, CA; granddaughter, Lindsay Abrams; brother, William Aho of Rutland, MA and her feline companion, Buddy.

Graveside services will be celebrated in the spring in the family lot at Atkinson Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH.
