Northborough voters please support a motion at this year’s April Town Meeting to make Saturday morning Annual Town Meetings permanent.
After a midnight vote in 2016 regarding purchasing White Cliffs mansion where 170 of 458 voters had left before the vote, it was time for a change.
I then filed in 2019 for an earlier 7 PM meeting start and the voters agreed overwhelmingly.
The next year voters agreed on an even earlier 6 PM start. Due to Covid, neither change could be implemented as the last two meetings were held Saturdays beginning at 9 A.M. with excellent attendance. Now voters have a chance to make this a new tradition when our minds are freshest.
