JoAnn A. KaspersonNorthborough – JoAnn A. Kasperson, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on April 7, 2022, she was 90 years old.

JoAnn was born and raised in Reeseville, Wisconsin, one of eight children to the late Emil and Hertha (Krueger) Lee. Shortly after high school JoAnn moved to Riverside, California where she studied at Riverside College prior to relocating to Northborough where she continued to live for the rest of her life.

For many years JoAnn worked at Davidian Farm where she picked fruits and vegetables, created beautiful flower boxes and worked the farm stand. She always appreciated the support from the Davidian Family. During this time she also worked as a waitress at White Cliffs. In 1974, she began a 27 year employment as a recruit coordinator at the Mass Firefighting Academy in Stowe.

JoAnn was most proud of her home which she worked very hard to complete on her own. Here, she tended to her gardens and cared for the birds. She enjoyed attending craft fairs and spending time with her beloved family. Sharing Christmas was a favorite holiday of JoAnn.

Surviving JoAnn are her three children, Mark Kasperson and his wife Mary Ann of West Haven, CT, Cheryl Mahoney and her husband John of Northborough and LeeAnn Pikul and her husband Steven of Palmer and her three grandchildren, Krista Lee Martin, Carl Kasperson and Molly Mahoney. She is also survived by her sister Ione Kuehl and her brother Wayne Lee. She was preceded in death by four brothers Melvin, Gerald, Kenneth, Ralph and a sister Isabel.

Private funeral services have been completed.
