Kevin D. TylerHudson – Kevin David Tyler passed away peacefully on June 6, 2023, at the age of 70. Kevin was born on November 24, 1952 to the late Donald and Virginia (LaPointe) Tyler.

Kevin leaves his brother Robert Tyler and his wife Catherine of Austin, TX; his nieces Alissa Tyler of Lebanon, CT, Amy Tyler and her husband Bill Benker, as well as their children Robert and Arden of Austin, TX.

He also leaves long-time friends Bob Mitchell, David Flood, and Andrew Chem. Their assistance and friendship over the last few months was invaluable to his family.

Kevin is predeceased by his parents Donald and Virginia, and his oldest brother Jeffery Tyler.

Kevin grew up in Hudson, and lived there for the majority of his life. He graduated from Hudson High School in 1970, and went on to graduate from  UMass Lowell in 1974 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. After graduating, he first worked at New England Nuclear Medicine. He later had an interim job building BJ’s Warehouses in the Northeast before joining the Hudson Fire Department in 1985.

After his father died, Kevin moved back in with his mother, and cared for her through a long and tough battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.

Spending time outdoors, fishing, and hunting were Kevin’s passions. After retiring in 2008, he was able to pursue those passions full-time. He fished and hunted the New England states, as well as the Great Lakes, Carolinas, Florida, Louisiana and Mexico. He also developed an interest in photography and printing, and he shared his beautiful prints with his family and friends.

Funeral services for Kevin will be private.

The Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home of Hudson assisted with arrangements.
