SHREWSBURY – Shrewsbury is currently encouraging interested individuals to apply for various board and committee vacancies.
The Trails Committee currently has five open seats. There are one-year, two-year, and three-year terms currently available. The application is open until seats are filled.
According to the committee’s website, “the community volunteer group provides information about trails to town residents so they can explore and make use of trails in Shrewsbury.” The group was first formed in 2011.
The Commission on Disabilities has one vacant one-year term. The seven-person committee “is responsible for advising the community on issues associated with disabled persons.” The commission “meets quarterly throughout the year in addition to special meetings depending on the workload of the [group.]”
The Commission on Disabilities application is due July 11.
