MARLBOROUGH — The City of Marlborough will be opening a cooling center from Wednesday, July 26, through Friday, July 28, at the Senior Center 40 New St. The cooling center will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The cooling center is open to all Marlborough residents.

The Ghiloni Park Splash Pad and Stevens Park Splash Pad will extend their hours Wednesday, July 26, through Friday, July 28, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

For after hours, an alternative is the Solomon Pond Mall, open Wednesday and Thursday until 8 p.m., and Friday until 9 p.m.

The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory from 11 a.m. on July 27 through 8 p.m. on July 28. High temperatures will be in the 90s both days.
