Ann L. ArsenaultMarlborough – Ann Lorraine (Schofield) Arsenault, 94, of Marlborough, died Saturday, August 26, 2023, at her home in Marlborough.

She was the daughter of the late Walter and Myrtle (Connell) Schofield and the wife of the late Robert Arsenault. She was predeceased by her brother Alan Schofield.

Lorraine is survived by her sons, Keith Arsenault and his wife Joellen of Marlborough, David Arsenault and his partner Donna Hicks of Ayer, Randy Arsenault and his wife Kathy of Marlborough and Bruce Arsenault and his wife Karen of Marlborough. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Ryan, Sean, Scott, Holly, Eric, Brad and Kristina and her great-grandchildren, Noel and Jonah.

Lorraine always enjoyed the summer BBQ’s and loved being surrounded by the family. Her favorite time was Christmas Eve and loved having everyone at her house and listening to everyone talk and enjoy the company of each other.

Lorraine loved being outside in her garden and loved using her loppers to maintain her bushes and trees. She enjoyed bird watching, and always had extra birdseed on hand. She enjoyed all types of animals and would never leave the house without a dog biscuit in her pocket. She always had shelled peanuts at home to throw out to the squirrels, she even had one squirrel who would come up to the door and rattle the door know and look in the window, so she knew he wanted food!

She was very involved with the First Baptist church and was in the Guild for many years.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, September 1, 2023, from 10:00-11:00AM at the First Baptist Church of Marlborough, 22 Mechanic St., Marlborough, MA. A funeral service will be held in the church following visiting hours at 11:00AM. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson St., Marlborough, MA.
