NORTHBOROUGH – The school buses are back on the road, and local kids are back in school for another year.
The Public Schools of Northborough and Southborough welcomed students on Aug. 31. Superintendent Greg Martineau joined Peaslee Elementary School staff that morning in greeting the students.
“Students are the reason why we’re here, and it’s great to have our schools come alive,” he said.
Students ran to greet their friends as they got off the bus, and older kids stood by to help the younger students find their way through the school.
“The excitement’s in the air. [We’re] looking forward to new adventures at Peaslee school,” said Principal Mary Coakley.
