Arlene ButkaMarlborough – Arlene “Pat” (Bradley) Butka, 97, of Marlborough, died Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at Sodalis Assisted Living in Florida.

She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Esther (Connaughton) Bradley and wife of the late Theodore “Teddy” Butka, who died in 2004. She was predeceased by her siblings, Eugene Bradley and Doris McGrath.

Pat was a hard worker and worked with family at the family business Chicago Beef. In her down time, she loved to roller skate. She was a member of the Sophistiskates in Norwood, regularly skating out of Hudson and Taunton. Pat partook in multiple roller-skating competitions where she received multiple medals and a trophy. Pat participated in the activity she loved until her late 80’s. Even after hanging up her skates, she and her daughter, Valerie, would go over to Taunton to watch her friends around the rink. She also enjoyed bus trips at Christmas time to New York City and summer bus trips to Maine.

Pat is survived by her daughter, Valerie Buteau and her husband Paul of Marlborough, her son Chris Butka of Marlborough, her sister Betty Bogartti and her husband David of Florida, her brother Raymond Bradley of Illinois, and her nieces and nephews, Kathleen Butka of Marlboro, Brian and Mary Butka of Hudson, Paul and Susan Butka of Hudson, John and Cindy Prifti of Shrewsbury and Paula Prifti and her husband Ed Cutter of Shrewsbury.

Visiting hours for Pat will be held on Monday, September 18, 2023, from 10:00-11:00 am with a funeral service following at 11:00 am at Sts. Anargyroi Greek Orthodox Church, 9 Central Street, Marlborough, MA 01752. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street, Marlborough.
