Westborough – Nancy (Randolph) Walker, 91, of Westborough, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 3, 2023.
She was born and raised in Buffalo, NY, and was the daughter of the late Harold and Mabel (Harringer) Randolph. She was a resident of Medfield, MA for 31 years, moving to Westborough, MA in 2000, to a condominium complex aptly named Walker Meadows.
Nancy was married to the late Thomas E. Walker for over 60 years, and beloved mother of Deborah W. Boucher and her husband, Richard, of Westborough, David R. Walker of Halifax, MA, Gregg E. Walker and his wife Tammy, of Enumclaw, WA, and Douglas E. Walker of Santa Monica, CA. She was also “Nana” to her three adored grandchildren – Jessica A. Boucher of Fairfield, CT, Daniel W. Boucher, of Boston, MA and Levi A. Walker of Enumclaw. She was also sister-in-law to Diane Walbesser of Waco, TX.
She was employed as an Executive Secretary at Sylvania Electric of Buffalo, NY, and an Administrator’s Secretary of the former Glover Memorial Hospital in Needham, MA. She served on the Diaconate Board, Board of Trustees and Capital Campaign Committee of the United Church of Christ in Medfield and was a member of the Women’s Fellowship and Stewardship Committee of the Congregational Church of Westborough.
Nancy was a former member of the Medfield Garden Club and a past member of the Westborough Women’s Club. She also held many positions in the Massachusetts Hospital Administrator’s Executive Assistants organization.
Nancy loved to cook and bake. Time spent with her family (either in person or via technology) was precious to her. She also enjoyed gardening, cleaning, reading, music and shopping (especially when she got a good deal).
In addition to her parents and husband, Nancy was predeceased by her cousins Lillian H. Symington and Thomas J. Miller, her god-daughter Bonnie Doherty and several treasured friends and cousins.
Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 14th at 10:00 AM in the Congregational Church of Westborough, 57 West Main Street, Westborough. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Westborough.
Calling hours at the Pickering & Son Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main Street, Westborough, are Monday, November 13th from 4 to 6 PM.
