Guy N. ThomasMarlborough – Guy N. Thomas, 61, retired Special agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), of Marlborough, died Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at home.

Born in New Haven, Connecticut, to Faith A. Santos and James Thomas. Guy is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 24 years, Diana Cruz-Thomas, daughter, Ana Sabina Thomas Cruz, son, Andres Thomas Cruz. He is also survived by two sisters, Sharon E. Thomas of New Haven, CT, and Pamela Thomas Roots of Silver Spring, MD, his godmother, Antoinette Oliviera of Hamden, CT, a host of family and many, many friends.

Guy graduated from Michigan State University in 1984. He began his career with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) from 1987 until he retired in 2013 as a Special Agent in charge of the New England Division. He returned to his long passion for animals and earned his Veterinary Tech degree from Becker College in 2015 and began his career working at Fresh Pond Animal Hospital in Belmont, MA and ultimately taking a position with CBSET in Lexington, MA, where he found his greatest joy.
