Shrewsbury – Alicia M. (LeBel) Gill, 90, of Shrewsbury and formerly of Worcester and Tarpon Springs, FL, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024 in the Shrewsbury Nursing and Rehab Center after a brief illness.
Alicia is survived by her loving husband, Donald K. Gill of Shrewsbury, MA; two sons, Ronald P. Anger and his wife Nancy of Sutton, MA and Randy Anger of Carnelian Bay, California; 7 grandchildren; Maria Barton of Athol, MA; Sean McCormick of Brookfield, MA; Steven and Michael McCormick of Worcester, MA; Rachel Lariviere and husband Scott of Sutton, MA; Tara Paradiso and husband Josh of Auburn, MA and Jessica Anger of Webster, MA; 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was born in Millbury, MA daughter of the late Emilien and Clarina (Lemay) LeBel and is also predeceased by two sons, Robert and Roger Anger; a daughter, Donna Krupika and sisters, Lucille Plouffe and Jacqueline DesRosiers.
Alicia worked for many years as an interior designer and forged many relationships with local contractors, especially while she was working at the former Henry’s Paint and Wallpaper Store in Worcester. Her expertise in interior decorating helped many homeowners throughout the years. A passion that carried through into her own home and yard, which she kept impeccable while she was not cooking a meal for her family and friends.
A funeral mass to celebrate the life of Alicia will be held at 11 am on Saturday January 27 in Saint Bernard’s Church 228 Lincoln St. Worcester. Private entombment will take place at a later date in Notre Dame Mausoleum, Worcester.
