Marlborough City Council approves appointments

MARLBOROUGH – During its first formal session of 2024, the City Council approved the following appointments:

  • Jason Grossfield as city solicitor, a position he has held since 2019.
  • Ryan Egan as chief of staff to Mayor J. Christian Dumais. He has worked for former Mayor Arthur Vigeant and served as public information officer for the City of Framingham.
  • Heather H. Gutierrez as executive administrator to the mayor’s office. She has worked as a paralegal for the city’s solicitor’s office, and as a citizen participation officer for the City of Framingham.
  • Police Chief David Giorgi as keeper of the lockup for the city.

The council also accepted the resignation of Dianne Plummer as chair of the city’s scholarship committee.
