Hudson – Clayton W. Trumpolt Sr. age 93 passed away on January 20th, 2024. He was the devoted husband of Helen (Stokes) Trumpolt for 73 loving years and a longtime resident of Hudson, MA.
He grew up in Stow, MA, where he attended school before graduating from Waltham Trade School and Waltham Watch Factory School.
After graduation he married his high school sweetheart and proudly served his country in the army on active duty in Korea and was honorably discharged.
Clayton worked as an experimental machinist for McPherson Instrumental of Chelmsford for 45 years. He took great pride for his work with a neurosurgeon at Massachusetts General Hospital. He was known for his energy and great work ethic.
Along with his beloved wife, Clayton leaves his two sons: Clayton Jr and his wife Nancy of Littleton, CO – and Stephen and his wife Paula of Rindge, NH. He also leaves behind three loving grandchildren: Kristin O’Toole and her husband Christopher of West Boylston, Marc Trumpolt of Rindge, NH, Richard Trumpolt and his wife Shelly – and great grandson Connor of Littleton, CO. Clayton also has a brother Robert who lives in Canton, MI.
Clayton was truly one of a kind and will be dearly missed by all the many people that loved him. His laughter, smile and kindness will never be forgotten.
A private gravesite ceremony for family will be held on February 9th, 2024.
