Marlborough – Stephen J. Edwards, 63 of Marlborough, MA passed away on February 3rd, 2024 after enduring multiple illnesses spanning more than three years.
Born in Brighton, MA on April 5th, 1960, the son of the late Ronald H. (d. 2000) and Anna M. (Panaggio) Edwards (d. 2022). He moved to the Stratton Hill area of Hudson, MA at the age of two where he was raised and attended Hudson schools, eventually graduating from Hudson High in 1978 before moving to Marlborough where he lived for the last 30+ years.
Stephen was an outstanding athlete participating in youth baseball beginning at the age of seven and continuing through high school. He absolutely loved and was completely passionate about all styles of literature.
He was an incredibly generous son, brother and uncle. Stephen is survived by his brother Scott P. Edwards of Ashburnham, MA. His sister Diane M. Edwards of Hudson, MA. His nephews Dylan J. Edwards of Bedford, MA, Joshua M. Edwards of Marlborough and his niece Taylor P. Edwards of Hudson.
Calling hours for Stephen will be held on Thursday, February 8th, 2024 from 4pm – 7pm at Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central St, Hudson, MA. Burial will be private.
