What to know about Westborough’s annual Town Meeting
Annual Town Meeting will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 23, at Westborough High School.

WESTBOROUGH – Here is what to know when attending the annual Town Meeting on Saturday, March 23.

Doors to the high school auditorium will open at 8 a.m. Town Meeting will begin at 9 a.m.

There will be 46 articles in the warrant, including the operating and capital budgets, the MBTA overlay district and 14 citizens petitions.

The gymnasium will be available in case of overflow; however, the electronic voting devices will be only for those in the auditorium.

The “traffic light” will be used once again – it’s used to keep track of time during presentations.

Free babysitting will be available from 8:50 a.m. to 9 p.m., courtesy of National Honor Society students.

Lunch will be available for purchase. Residents may also bring a lunch.

A 90-minute dinner break may be called around 5 p.m.

If Town Meeting cannot conclude on Saturday, it will resume on Monday, March 25, at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium. There will be no electronic voting devices available.

The forecast for Saturday calls for rain, heavy at times, throughout the day into the evening.

The warrant, as well as the Report and Recommendations from the Advisory Finance Committee, are available on the town’s website, www.westboroughma.gov.
