Nearly 2,500 customers lose power in Westborough, Upton

WESTBOROUGH – A late-season Nor’easter has left Westborough residents without power.

According to National Grid’s outage map, 2,468 customers in Westborough and Upton lost power just before 10 a.m.

The outage spans downtown Westborough – including Community Advocate offices on South Street – down Upton Road and towards the Upton State Forest. National Grid is estimating that power will return by 11:45 a.m.

As of 11 a.m., power had been restored to all but a few in Westborough.

There is currently a winter weather advisory in place that will be in place until 2 a.m. April 5.
