Town Clean Up Day

Saturday, April 20, 9 a.m. to noon, Shrewsbury. Keep Shrewsbury Beautiful hosts the annual town cleanup day and works with local groups to do smaller cleanups. We provide the bags, you provide the people power.

Community Garden Opening

Saturday, April 20, 9 a.m., Lee Knowlton Community Garden, Estabrook Road, Grafton. The Grafton Community Garden will open for the season with refreshments and a general cleaning up of the garden and environs. Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis (existing renters get first renewal right). Applications are available on our website.

Chamber Music MetroWest Kids’ Concerts

Saturday, April 20, 10 to 10:45 a.m., Westborough Public Library, 55 West Main St., Westborough. Join Chamber Music MetroWest for a fun interactive reggae/ska concert featuring a flute, trumpet and rhythm section. Through musical activities and storytelling, Chamber Music MetroWest’s Kids’ Concerts uniquely engage and educate younger audience members and foster an interest in music.

This program is for kids and caregivers of all ages.

Make a Copper Bookmark

Saturday, April 20, 11 a.m., Northborough Free Library, 34 Main St., Northborough. Heather Beck will show you how to craft your own bookmark from a strip of copper using a variety of tools. You can adorn your bookmark with letters and designs. All materials and tools will be provided.

Spring Market

Saturday, April 20, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Hudson Town Hall driveway. Sponsored by the Assabet Valley Chamber of Commerce. Sixteen vendors will offer a variety of goods for purchase, including Abby’s Famous Dog Treats, FSG Baking, Hudson Hives, Waning Crescent Soap Co. and Vista Grainworks.

Hike with Mayor Christian
