Feb. 7, 1953 – June 3, 2021
Westborough – Dennis E. Meyer, 68, passed away at home peacefully after a year-long battle with esophageal cancer. Dennis was born in Weymouth on Feb. 7, 1953, to Donald and Louise (Webb) Meyer.
He served in The United States Air Force from 1971-1979. After that he worked 43 years at LEWA-Nikkiso, Inc., in Holliston up until his passing.
Dennis leaves behind his loving wife of 49 years, Christine Mac Vicar Meyer, and three sons, Jeremy Meyer and his husband Nick of Hartford, Conn., Dennis Meyer Jr. and his partner Tonya of Millbury, and Corey Meyer of Westborough. Also, one grandson, Liam, of Millbury. Also, brothers Douglas and his wife Mary of Weymouth, David Meyer and his wife June of Ware, sister Darlene and her wife Robyn of Norwood, and many nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
Even though he was quiet and quite reserved, he had a great and sometimes strange sense of humor.
Dennis really enjoyed playing softball in the Westborough, especially the men’s over 45 league, and the monthly pizza nights at WHOP. He really loved spending time relaxing at and improving our summer camp in Augusta, Maine with local friends there.
There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held at a time to be announced.
