Claire T. LeBlancWorcester – Claire T. (Desmarais) LeBlanc, loving and supportive mother born in Central Falls, R.I. in the year 1935, died on Aug 9, 2021 at UMass Memorial Hospital in Worcester. She lived in Hudson for 58 years. She spent the last three years in declining health in loving care of the staff of Dodge Park Rest Home in Worcester.

She was predeceased by her parents, Rouville and Angele Desmarais, and her dear brother, Ronald Desmarais of Pawtucket, R.I. She is survived by her children, Maryanne C. Leone and her husband Gerard of Sunapee, N.H., Joanne J. LeBlanc of Campbell, Calif., and her son, Rene Marc LeBlanc and his wife Donna of Marlborough. Claire is also survived by five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, Jessica Berry and husband Jake and their children Clark and Gemma of Niskayuna, N.Y., Cara Leone-Butler and husband Kevin and their children Conner and Keegan of New London, N.H., and Michael, Alicia, and Christopher LeBlanc of Marlborough; and also a whole host of Desmarais nephews and nieces who remember her big smile and called her Auntie Claire. The family wants to acknowledge the wonderful support given to Claire by her surrounding neighbors of Hudson and Marlborough.

Visiting hours at the Tighe-Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 18, from 4-7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, Aug. 19, at 11 a.m., in St. Michael’s Church, 21 Manning St., Hudson. Urn burial will immediately follow in Evergreen Cemetery, 133 Wilson St., Marlborough.
