MARLBOROUGH – Members of the GFWC Marlborough Junior Woman’s Club were wearing red for the “GO RED FOR WOMEN” challenge at their meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 1, in recognition of “National Wear Red Day” on Feb. 4.
The American Heart Association’s signature women’s initiative, Go Red for Women is a comprehensive platform designed to increase women’s heart health awareness and serve as a catalyst for change to improve the lives of women globally.
Heart disease is the number one killer of women—killing more than all forms of cancer combined.

THE SPAGHETTI SUPPER sponsored by the Men’s Fellowship of the First Church in Marlborough, Congregational will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 23, from 5 – 6:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall.
The menu is spaghetti and meatballs in addition to salad, a beverage and dessert for $6 per person or a maximum of $18 for a family of four or more.
The public is invited to attend. First Church is located at the corner of High and Bolton (Rte. 85) streets, above Union Common in Marlborough.
The Marlborough Recreation Department will be offering “PROJECT WINTER ADVENTURE 2022,” a February School Vacation Program that will include fun winter activities from Feb. 22 to Feb. 25. The programming runs from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and is open for children, ages 6 to 12.
Children 12 years of age at the time of program must have proof of one vaccination against COVID-19 in order to participate in Boston-based field trips. This is due to the vaccine requirements set forth by the City of Boston.
Project Winter Adventure will take place at the Jericho Hill Recreation
Facility at 496 Brigham St. in Marlborough.
The Activities Schedule includes trips to the Children’s Museum, Roller Kingdom, Fun World and the Science Museum. Trips are subject to change.
