Hudson – Darcia (Lazaros) Constantine, 60, of Hudson, MA, died on Friday, December 2, 2022 after a long illness at The Reservoir Center for Health & Rehabilitation in Marlborough, MA.
Darcia leaves her husband of 38 years, Richard A. Constantine of Hudson, MA; her two sons, Richard A. Constantine Jr. and his wife Adrienne of Hudson, MA and Michael A. Constantine and his fiancé Alicia Downs of Sterling, MA. ; Three brothers, Robert Lazaros Jr. and his partner Sandi Beall of Marlborough, Charles Lazaros and his wife Sheri of Maine, Gary Lazaros and his wife Julie of Hudson, MA. Four loving grandchildren, Avery, Reilly, Calley and Michael Jr. along with many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Darcia was born and raised in Marlborough, MA, daughter of the late Robert Lazaros Sr. and Barbara Lazaros. She attended local schools and was a 1980 graduate of Marlborough High School. Darcia loved children and was a dedicated Paraprofessional at Farley Elementary School in Hudson. She also enjoyed her involvement with the CHAPS Morning Program in Hudson for many years. The Hudson School System pays tribute to Darcia for her devotion to education as a paraeducator every year with the Darcia Constantine Para-Educator Excellence Award.
Darcia will fondly be remembered for her caring and compassionate nature. Her devotion to not only her own children but so many others was always special. She cherished her family, especially later spending time with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed but always remembered by those who loved and knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to a period of visitation from 10:00 – 12:00 noon on Friday, December 9, 2022 followed by a service and celebration of Darcia’s life at 12:00 noon at the Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson, MA. Procession to Forestvale Cemetery, Broad Street, Hudson for committal services will follow.
