Region – The Boston Marathon is a special race, embedded in the culture of the towns along its path. The bombings that occurred during the 2013 marathon deeply affected everyone in the region. The Community Advocate has interviewed a group of local runners that meet weekly to train together. Over the next several weeks, we will be sharing the stories of these runners: what the race means to them, why they are running, and how they were affected by the events of last year.
