What are your earliest baseball memories?
“My earliest baseball memory was playing tee-ball with some of my best friends.”
Which coach or parent really encouraged you to succeed?
“My father has always encouraged me, and pushed me to be the best that I can be.”
What was it like to be a part of the Shrewsbury High varsity team this season?
“It was a great experience playing with a great coaching staff and some longtime friends.”
Which game was the single most special from this past season?
“The Saint Peter Marian game was my favorite because our offense struck heavily, and we defeated the best team at the time.”
Which coach on the SHS staff was the most helpful in your development this season?
“They have all helped me so much. Each coach has a great view of the game, and they always kept it loose and fun.”
At one point you led your conference in hitting. To what do you attribute your success at the plate?
“I credit Harvey Krupnick. He is my hitting coach, and he taught me how to ‘wrist hit.’ It was very effective in helping me go to the opposite field.”
What are your expectations for 2015? Both as a team and individually.
“My expectation is to have a devoted team that plays deep into the month of June. Personally, I expect to hit the same, or better, than this year.”
What is your favorite class at SHS, and why?
“My favorite class is English, because I’m able to express myself through writing, and I enjoy that.”
Who are your favorite music artists?
“My favorite musical artists are Kanye West, Drake, and Bun B. I can relate to their lyrics due to our similar interests in clothing.”
Have you began to look at colleges, and would you like to play baseball at that level?
“Yes, I have begun. I would like to play in college. I’ve sent my recruiting tape to several schools and I plan to send to several more.”
