Northborough – The Marlborough High School boys’ soccer team came out on top 5-1 over Algonquin Regional High School, as two of top teams in Central Mass. battled it out in a physical contest on Tuesday, September 19.
Andre Faria scored two goals moments apart, while Edson Doirain, Kevin Santillan, Gabriel Pinho each netted one in the victory. Algonquin’s lone goal was scored by Jonathan Hatem.
Marlborough improves to 4-0-1 on the season, while Algonquin, who was handed their first loss, falls to 4-1.
