Hudson – The deadline for area artists to register for the Arts Alliance Photography Exhibit is Thursday, Nov. 15. Sponsored by the Arts Alliance and the Assabet Valley Camera Club, the exhibit may be viewed at the Citizens Bank, 17 Pope St., Hudson, from Nov. 29 through Jan. 11 during regular banking hours.
The registration form can be downloaded and printed from the “Visual Arts” section of the website at www.upwitharts.org and then mailed or delivered to: Arts Alliance, 155 Apsley St., Hudson, MA? 01749.
Ready-to-hang framed works of art must be delivered Saturday, Nov. 17, from 9 to 11 a.m., at the Citizens Bank. There is an exhibit fee of $15 per piece for non-members. Members of the Arts Alliance and the Assabet Valley Camera Club pay a discounted fee of $8 for one piece or $16 for two pieces, and student participants may register for $5 per piece.? Entry is limited to two works of art per person.? Membership forms may be downloaded from the Arts Alliance website.? Artwork must be picked up from the Citizens Bank Saturday, Jan. 12, from 9 to 11 a.m.
The opening reception will be held Thursday, Nov. 19, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.? The public is welcome to attend and enjoy meeting many of the exhibiting photographers. Refreshments will be served, and most works will are available for purchase.? A portion of each sale of art goes to support the Arts Alliance.
There is no admission charge to view the artwork on display at the Citizens Bank in Hudson. Bank hours are Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Thursdays and Fridays, from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Saturdays, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon.
