Shrewsbury -  Shrewsbury High School hosted Leominster High School for a girls’ basketball ‘must-win’ game on Feb 5.  in Shrewsbury.  Going into the game, SHS, with a 7-8 record, had to win three more games in order to qualify for the post-season.

The Colonials got off to a sluggish start, not getting on the board until 4:03 left in the first quarter, and only had a 6-5 lead at the end of the first.  They got their game back on track in the second period however, and the first half ended with SHS up 26-12.

Shrewsbury continued their domination in the second half, and won the game, easily 52-25, to go to 8-8 for the season.
