Obit Jane RadeskyShrewsbury – Jane C. (Kozlowski) Radesky, 83, of Shrewsbury, passed into the loving embrace of her Lord and Savior Monday, Dec. 30, 2013.
Jane is survived by three sons, David A. Radesky and his wife, Cecile, of Worcester, Richard J. Radesky of Boylston, and Michael B. Radesky and his wife, Lori, of South Barre; two daughters, Claudia Hollander-Lucas and her husband, John, of Vashon, Wash. and Karen Elliot of Melbourne, Fla.; a sister, Helen Kilinski of Worcester; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Albert S. Kozlowski, and two sisters, Josephine Louzonus and Irene Ankstitus.

She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Michael and Bronislawa (Noviki) Kozlowski. She graduated from Saint Mary's High School and later from Westborough State Hospital School of Nursing.

Jane worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Belmont Home for many years, retiring in 1993. She had previously cared for patients at Saint Francis Home and the Westborough and Grafton State Hospitals.

Jane was a devout Roman Catholic with a strong faith in Jesus Christ and the love he has for everyone. She was a member of Saint Anne's Church in Shrewsbury; and had been a Perpetual Vowed member of the Teresian Carmelites, for over 37 years. She had hosted a beautiful prayer line for many years for the Carmelites.

Visitation will be held in Saint Anne's Church, 130 Boston Turnpike, Shrewsbury Thursday, Jan. 2, from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m., immediately prior to the Celebration of her Funeral Liturgy, which will be held at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery of Worcester. Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel is assisting her family with arrangements.
