Westborough to host World Series trophy

World-Series-Trophy-cr-198x300Westborough – It’s been making the rounds and now Westborough’s Red Sox fans will get a chance to see the 2013 Major League Baseball Commissioner’s Trophy Monday, Feb. 17 up close as well. Fans can bring their cameras to have their photo taken with the trophy from 12-2 p.m. at the Hastings Elementary School, 111 E. Main St.  Also on hand to meet fans will be the team’s mascot, “Wally the Green Monster.”

The cost is $5 per family; a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Westborough Food Pantry.
