Shrewsbury – The Gymnastics Learning Center (GLC) and God’s Little Children Preschool in Shrewsbury are dedicated to giving back to those in need. During the months of November and December, GLC families celebrated the season of giving by “Paying It Forward.”
Starting in November, boxes filled with goodies were collected for Operation Christmas Child, a program that sends necessities to children in need in over 100 countries around the world.
GLC also sponsored a food drive for the Worcester County Food Bank during the fall months. GLC’s Junior Olympic Team gymnasts led the way by holding a contest to see who could collect the most food. To date, GLC has donated 385 pounds to the Worcester Food Pantry this season.
To close out the holiday season of giving, GLC participated in the Toys for Tots program. This year marks GLC’s 20th year of collecting toys for those in need. GLC remains committed to making a difference in the lives of families and children each holiday season.
